Dear Parents and Friends,
Greetings from the Primary
Department!
We wish to inform you the
following re-adjustment of our
mid-term examination and related matters. Due to the extended
vacation,
the primary has adjusted the missed teaching days by postponing the
choral
recitation this term and introducing 2 examinations per day including
Saturday.
The planned field trips will also be on hold till further guidance on
the
situation.
In order to ensure that your child is relieved of any
pressure of portions, the examinations will only include portions
already
taught and no new portion will be included this term. Hence, classes
will
resume on October 22 with revisions for 6 days to help your child
refresh the
previous chapters taught to him/her.
The mid-term examination will
commence on 29th
October till 31st October 2009 (3 days). The time
table is
available on the website.
You will also have access to “activity
sheets” posted
on our website which will help prepare your child for the exam and
serve as a
revision tool. These sheets are important as they will carry an
internal
assessment mark. The filled in hand written activity sheets will
be
collected from your child on 22nd October 2009. If you have
any
clarifications regarding these sheets, you may call the teachers on 29th
and 30th September between 9.00am and 3.30pm on the phone
numbers
mentioned on the activity sheets.
If necessary you may come and collect your child’s books
from the school after making a phone call to our Primary Reception at
02168-243251 between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Saturday, from
September 29th
to October 10th, 2009.
