The students are encouraged to be creative in their work; to see, think and do things in more than one way. They are encouraged to be flexible in applying their intellectual, emotional and intuitive abilities. Creativity in ones daily work and facing lifes challenges is important. Practical applications for professional development as well as daily living are part of the curriculum. Reflections on life through art are to be extended beyond the classroom for giving service to others, making the world a better place, and for individual progress. Real art not only can convey knowledge, but also concepts, feelings and high ideals. It can be an interactive, uplifting experience. Divisions and Levels On the one hand, basic areas of work are repeated each year at ever-higher levels. On the other, there is a general graduated differentiated curriculum for each class level. Also new kinds of art and expression are integrated or added. |
