The Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Dining Halls

The vegetarian dining hall seats about 300 students and has two serving lines. All areas are tiled and working surfaces are of stainless steel. The Primary children take their meals before the Secondary. The non-vegetarian dining hall though somewhat smaller, also has two serving lines, separate staff and washing areas.

Girls’ Dormitories

Fernwood and Muhajir dorms are home for about 217 girls. There is space inside and out for recreation.
They have a games complex which is used for indoor games and gatherings.

Boys’ Dormitories

The six dorms with almost 500 boys are spread over the campus. Inside, some have as many as ten separate wings.

All the dorms have solar water heating. All dorms have intercom and external phone connections for students to receive calls from their parents on weekends.

Campus TV Network

All dormitories are linked to the school’s Audio/Visual control room. On weekends they are shown a suitable movie in Hindi or English. Sometimes world sports events—like cricket or football are also shown.

There is a full-time doctor & a nurse at the Health Centre and a doctor visits every day at 5:30 p.m. One wing is for boys and one for girls. The School also has an agreement with the local hospital for regular medical checkups. Also dental and eye examinations are given twice yearly.

Water Purification Plant

The school has 3 covered wells, 3 bore wells and a water purification and storage plant. The dormitories have water storage tanks. Water is provided from the main tank from early morning till late evening.

Generator

Due to frequent power cuts, the School has installed an 3 generator to provide 24 hours of electricity.Providing electricity upto 80/120/40 kilowatt everyday.
