School Emblem

The symbols used in New Era emblem can have many inspiring meanings. A few are mentioned here.

The nine-pointed star as well as the tree represent the unity and oneness of mankind and also religion. Here the number nine is viewed as the highest number. All others are included in it. The star also symbolizes the Divine Teachers sent from God to give guidance to humanity.

The sun behind the star represents God who has created the universe and given life and guidance to all. The star gets its light from the sun. The light represents the word and life-giving power of God.

The symbol of the tree has many meanings. Here the tree is the tree of life, and the tree of knowledge and wisdom grounded in religious and spiritual teachings that come from God through the Holy Messengers or Divine Teachers. These teachings are given to us in the Holy Writings providing spiritual nourishment. It is also the tree of humanity, the human family. The leaves represent the different branches of the peoples of the world.

The two olive branches symbolize the establishment of peace in the world and the constructive attitudes of New Era staff and students in promoting it. Having two branches for world peace and prosperity also emphasizes the requirement of the equal contribution of both man and woman for their establishment.
