The Primary Athletic Meet held on 11th February 2010 was a great success. Our guest of honour, Shrimati. Meenal Kalaskar, Nayab Tehsildar of Mahabaleshwar Taluka and Chief Guest Mrs. Tuba Mahabat, former Head of Primary Department, were greatly impressed with the discipline, team work and enthusiasm. Many parents witnessed their little ones in action and remained a great source of encouragement to them. 

Some of the events such as throws, jumps and runs were completed during the athletic heats over the previous week. The highlights of the final day were the exciting 50 and 100 meter races and relays. The march past, mass drill and loop drill demonstrated exceptional team work where more than 50 students performed as one body. The coordination and the flexibility of the 15 students exhibiting the Surya Namaskar was outstanding. To add colour and gaiety, four dances were presented by the students in truly admirable and professional style. The welcome Bharatnatyam dance, the Rajasthani dance, the Maharashtran Folk dance and the Vande Matharam were greatly admired and applauded. The tiny tots put up an excellent show to be remembered for long despite being preoccupied with examinations and with little time for practice.
