New Era has continued to
endeavour to integrate the Moral
Education Programme with the academic activities at the school and this
year efforts
were made to integrate our vocational training activities with the
Moral
Education Programme. We now see these activities- extra-curricular
activities of this
multi-dimensional Moral
Education programme where our students strengthen
several moral concepts by engaging themselves in acquiring relevant
vocational
and artistic skills – such as mural painting and craft work,
emboss painting
and clay work, embroidery and needlework, food craft and confectionery,
welding
and fabrication, horticulture and carpentry etc. Such extra-curricular
activities enable our students to closely interact with and appreciate
the
world of nature, get valuable insights into the world of art and
culture,
observe and experience the life and activities of people in rural and
urban
settings, understand
the network and
functioning of health, food supplies, law and order, panchayat
administration
and rural banking in selected micro-regions.
